"Two people talking in a room" should be anyone's directorial debut, and dammit if you haven't upped the stakes with more people and more room.

Have to say, I laughed. Out loud a couple of times. You really should employ a black lesbian in a wheelchair who is passionate about climate change for comic effect.

Some of the framing I "noticed" as being off to my tastes, but it's a comedy, who cares (obviously not your camera op ;-)

Some of the audio I "noticed" as being off-mic, were you booming, or using lavs, or both? Or something else horrific that I dare not contemplate?

yep, your old nemesis is back...

i laughed at the disabled thing in the first one..the rest were a bit of a waste of time. just because sketches don't make sense doesn't mean they are funny. and you've fucking blatently ripped of Jam, and you know you have.

i actually liked the camera work though..everything cut together nicely. It all looked a bit short-film-y though. If you watch any sketch shows on TV (Snuff Box, Man Stroke Woman, Jam, Peep Show even) they probably don't have a huge amount more than you in the way of equipment (I assume you shot on HDV, which isn't a million miles away from DigiBeta quality) but they have good production values and a decent grade. you'll struggle to find anyone that will take you seriously until you stop making stuff that looks like a student university project.

you've got some fairly decent actors there, you should give them something good to do.

BUT, i'm with Miker, it's much better than the jism I'm used to from you chaps [img]smile.gif[/img]
